Tida Ndure is the founder and strategic lead of TIDA. She brings over a decade of experience in community organising, diplomacy, education advocacy, and youth empowerment across Africa and the UK.
holds an MSc in Public Policy and a BA in History and International Studies, and has completed extensive training in communication, leadership, business management, project management, diplomacy, and health and welfare. She previously worked with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a State Protocol Officer and served as a youth advocate with the United Nations.
Her commitment to social impact is demonstrated through her extensive work with international bodies such as ECOWAS, the Michelle Obama Foundation on girls’ education, and various universities and government institutions on youth-led empowerment campaigns. She has successfully secured funding from ECOWAS, private philanthropists, and academic institutions to deliver high-impact programmes focused on storytelling, education, and social development.
As a former founder of a non-profit organisation active in five African countries, she led transformative story campaigns and empowerment projects focused on education and enlightenment. Her passion for youth development is matched by her skill in public engagement . She is the recipient of two academic scholarships and an award for excellence in youth education and community service.
Tida brings vision, experience, and deep commitment to building migrant-led, culturally rooted, and justice-focused work at TIDA.

Mbayang Ndiaye
Administrative Secretary
Mbayang Ndiaye serves as the Administrative Secretary at TIDA, bringing over a decade of hands-on experience from her work in the UK’s care and support sector. A long-time Manchester resident and member of the diaspora community, Mbayang has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by racialised and culturally diverse families, particularly those navigating the UK’s public service systems.
Her professional background includes extensive training in safeguarding, care work, and community support, equipping her with the skills to work compassionately and effectively across a range of complex needs. Fluent in both English and French, she plays a key role in making TIDA’s communication accessible, inclusive, and culturally responsive.
Mbayang is especially passionate about supporting families affected by health inequalities, disability, and social exclusion. Her calm presence, cultural sensitivity, and strong interpersonal skills make her a trusted point of contact for many in the community.
With her lived experience, commitment to social justice, and practical knowledge, Mbayang helps ensure that TIDA’s day-to-day operations reflect the care, respect, and inclusion we aim to build in wider society.

Jaisouma Ceesay
Treasurer
Jaisouma Ceesay serves as Treasurer at TIDA, where he combines strong financial skills with deep community insight. He has over five years of experience supporting migrants, young people, and low-income families through grassroots programmes focused on empowerment and inclusion.
Professionally trained in bookkeeping and financial systems, Jaisouma is proficient in Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage Accounting, and has hands-on payroll experience. His ability to manage budgets, track spending, and ensure financial transparency helps keep TIDA’s operations accountable and mission-driven.
In addition to his financial role, Jaisouma has been actively involved in mentoring youth and leading local initiatives that build confidence and opportunity within underrepresented communities. His calm, trustworthy presence makes him an anchor within the team.

Ayoola Desmond
Media and Communications Lead
Ayoola Desmond Ibrahim is a skilled media and communications specialist with a Bachelor’s degree in Media and Graphic Design. With a strong creative vision and a passion for purposeful storytelling, Desmond brings a wealth of experience from the charity and creative sectors, having worked with several well-known organisations on high-impact media and design campaigns.
His expertise includes branding, digital content creation, visual storytelling, and strategic messaging. Desmond has a keen eye for design and a deep understanding of how to craft narratives that engage diverse audiences across print, video, and digital platforms.
At TIDA, he plays a pivotal role in shaping our public image and amplifying the voices of our communities. His creativity, professionalism, and values-driven approach ensure that every story we share reflects the dignity, power, and diversity of the people we serve.
